🎄 The Spree of Trees is just around the corner, running from December 3rd through the 6th at the Memorial Gym, and we're excited to get our tree ready! Come join us in making some book-page gingerbread house ornaments and star garlands. Make some for us and take some home for you! All supplies will be provided, so bring a friend!

A Halloween Adventure Through History
Trick-or-treat with spirits from America’s founding as the historic Puddle Dock neighborhood comes alive after dark.

Meet wayward pirates, visit a mysterious fortune-teller, hear ghostly tales, make giant spider webs, dance to haunting music, and play games for prizes.

Designed especially for children ages 4-8, Ghosts on the Banke offers plenty of Halloween atmosphere without being frightening. Costumes are encouraged and guests of every age are welcome.

Time to get Spooky! Come make a 3D Wood Pumpkin for Halloween, Wed Oct 21 anytime between 2-5 pm. All materials provided. Suggested for ages 5-12. 🎃🎃🎃

What is a craft swap you ask? It's a community craft supply share.
People donate their unused crafts supplies - if you're like me, I've got a closet full of projects that I just won't do. Drop off your goodies from Saturday Oct 17-22. On October 24th, we share those craft supplies to all, though the swappers get first dibs from 9-10.
So go through those closets and craft rooms and clean them out, share, and then create! It's free to all.
*all yarn needs to be whole skeins

By popular request, we’ve scheduled a second session of How to Get Your Canadian Citizenship with Green & Spiegel at the Springvale Library!
There was so much interest in this program that we decided to add another date. You can sign up for either Wednesday, October 21st, or Monday, November 16th, by visiting our website now. Please note that registration is required, and priority will be given to Springvale & Sanford residents. October 21st will be a hybrid session, so you can attend in our Community Room or join online via Zoom from anywhere with an internet connection. The November 16th session will be held exclusively on Zoom.

🎨 Join us for a fun, step-by-step autumn painting session with artist Elizabeth Daly! Due to an overwhelming response to this wonderful program, there are now two sessions available: Tuesday, October 27th at 5:30pm and Wednesday, October 28th at 5:30pm.
