The first 9-weeks report cards will be coming home with your child this week! Please review grades with your child. As a reminder, let us know if you need help accessing the PowerSchool Parent Portal where you can see your child's grade throughout the school year at any time.
This Friday, October 16th, our Jr. Beta Club is hosting our annual Pink Out Volleyball Game where the students challenge the teachers for bragging rights! The cost for students to attend the game is $3. All proceeds will be donated to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
Tennis tryouts for 7th and 8th grade students will be on November 2nd and 3rd. All students who want to tryout can sign up in the office. They will need to have an updated physical and Dragonfly account by October 23rd. If you have any question, please email Mrs. Brittany Hicks.
6th grade students planning to attend the field trip to the Vulcan and Alabama Sports Hall of Fame need to turn in their money and permission slips by October 21st.
The SMS Fall Yard Sale is happening this Saturday, October 17th, from 8:00am-2:00pm. If you'd like to set up as a vendor, please email Ms. Booker for more information.
The cross country team will be competing at the Husky Challenge in Trussville this Saturday, October 17th.
SMS Archery Tryouts will now be held during the week of October 26th. Students trying out should plan to stay after school Monday-Thursday that week.
