It might look a little messy, but actually, the tables are cleaner than ever ✨ and the kids left smelling good! 🤭 After reading “The World Needs Who You Were Made To Be” by Joanna Gaines, we kept our head “in the clouds” and our hands in the shaving cream! ☁️

What’s so cool about this kind of play is that it gives children opportunities for sensory exploration, develops fine motor skills and even prepares them for handwriting! 🧠

The Children’s Play Space will be closed today and will reopen Monday. We also won’t be having chair exercise class today.

We had a lot of fun at the library tonight for craft night. We have some very artistic people here in Dickens County.

It’s Fall Craft Time at the Library! 🍁🖼️

On Tuesday, October 6 at 5:30pm, join us for an evening of crafting and visiting. Bring an 8”x10” frame if you have one—we’ll have a few extras, too! 🍂 And of course, our younger friends are welcome, too! We’ll have a simple craft just for them, so bring the whole family! ❤️

Did we cry?? GOODNESS NO! 😸

We got a little messy at Storytime today with some inspiration from our book, “Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes” by Eric Litwin.👣 Our little readers stepped through egg cartons, shaving cream, mud, and water for a fun sensory adventure! 🍓🫐 🤎💦

09/05/2026

The library will be closed Monday, September 7 for Labor Day. 🇺🇸 Our community is built by hardworking people—and Labor Day is a chance to celebrate them all. We hope you enjoy the long weekend with your people!
