What an AMAZING campaign weekend for our movement and for St. Louis. 💙

From honoring the 1-year tornado anniversary, to attending the Democratic Gala, to walking into the LGBTQIA+ ballroom celebration this weekend was powerful, emotional, and inspiring all at once.

A huge shoutout to WPT and Project Thrive for continuing to create spaces that uplift our communities and bring people together. I was honored to sponsor the gala event and stand alongside so many leaders, advocates, and residents who truly care about the future of our city.

Walking into the ballroom and seeing the energy, love, and support reminded me exactly why we started this campaign: to make sure EVERY voice is heard.

As we reflected on the 1-year anniversary of the tornado that devastated parts of North and West St. Louis, we also renewed our call for REAL change and investment in our communities. This was one of the first EF3 tornadoes in St. Louis history, and too many families are still waiting to be seen, heard, and helped.

And let’s talk about that keynote speaker she told the TRUTH. No matter the pressure, no matter the politics, my opponents are not going to push me off the ballot or silence our movement.

Did you all notice how many opponents are running for St. Louis City Recorder of Deeds? That only shows one thing: they know our voices are growing stronger, and they don’t want everyday people to have a seat at the table.

But this campaign was built by the people, for the people and we’re just getting started.
