Thank You All!
Although the election did not turn out the way we had hoped, I am so immensely grateful to each and every one of you who supported me throughout this process. A very special thank you to my family, friends, supporters and volunteers from the bottom of my heart. Your support and encouragement pushed me to advocate for the 21st Ward in a way that I never imagined; my hope of bringing change to the place I have called home for over 57 years is still important to me. I will continue to work on its behalf.
This was truly an experience and I thank everyone who have spent their time, effort, and energy to get the message out and to advocate for the 21st Ward on my behalf. The people have spoken and it is well.
Congratulations to Laura Keys on her win.

On August 2, 2022, the 21st Ward will have a Special Election to elect an official for the remainder of the term of the previous Alderman. It is for 8 months!
YOUR VOTE IS CRITICAL; WE NEED AN ALDERWOMAN WHO:
- Is prepared from day one to represent the 21st Ward at City Hall
- Doesn't talk about experience; she has it and is ready to lead
- Will represent the residents of the 21st Ward (Not Special Interest) such as Gas Stations or to promote liquor in our community
- Has a proven record of accomplishments within City Government
- Has worked with the Board of Aldermen getting legislation passed (such as minimum wage, increase wages, and improved pension benefits)
JoAnn Dyson Williams is a life-long DEMOCRAT and is the only candidate with the experience we need to represent us.
