22 days. 300 miles. One state, walked end to end by women veterans who refused to be invisible.
Operation Take Up Space walked our final mile into Wilmington yesterday and closed at the 1898 Memorial Park, on ground where this country once took the vote by force. We finished there on purpose.

Every mile was somebody's feet. Every stop was somebody's kitchen, church, or front porch, or business. The women who walked, the towns who fed us, the people who drove out just to clap on a roadside, this was never one organization's march. It was yours.
Now we take the next step, and it is a short one.

Oct. 9, last day to register
Oct. 15, early voting begins
Oct. 20, last day to request an absentee ballot
Oct. 31, last day of early voting
Nov. 3, Election Day
If you miss the Oct. 9 deadline, you can still register and vote in person during early voting, Oct. 15 through Oct. 31. Same day. Bring proof of where you live.
We took up space on the road. Take up space at the polls.
