Maryville University Writing Studio

The Writing Studio is a program sponsored by the Division for Student Success. Tutors may also counsel students on sentence structure, word choice, and grammar.

The Writing Studio is staffed by screened and trained undergraduate students who engage students in conversation, help them brainstorm topics, create outlines, round out first drafts, and revise complete drafts. Tutors will also focus on organizational strategies, supporting detail, and clarity.
