Vision for Children at Risk

Looking for ways to keep your kids engaged in creativity and learning this summer? There’s still time to register for FREE summer camps through the St. Louis Public Library!

Weeklong camps are available for children and teens of all ages, with topics including robotics, filmmaking, dancing, acting, biking, and more.

Space is limited, and each child may register for up to two camps. Families are encouraged to create a profile for their child before registering. Assistance with setting up a profile is available at any SLPL location.

Legislative decisions impact children and families every day—but keeping up with policy changes can be difficult. Join us for our annual Legislative Wrap-Up with and the St. Louis Child Abuse and Neglect Network Stlcann to learn what happened during the recent legislative session and connect with others committed to advocacy and positive change.

The St. Louis Area Violence Prevention Commission is encouraging nonprofits, community groups, and youth organizations to host FREE evening and weekend events for youth across St. Louis County.

💰 Funding Available:
✅ Up to $2,500 for first-time applicants
✅ Up to $5,000 for returning applicants, based upon past performance

📅 Applications due by the 7th of the month before your event.
Due June 7 for July Events

📍Events must be FREE and located in St. Louis County.

We have two big events coming up! On June 5th we will gather together for the Annual Legislative Wrap-Up along with St. Louis Child Abuse and Neglect Network Stlcann and Generate Health STL. Then on Friday, June 12th we have our next St. Louis Child Abuse and Neglect Network Stlcann Quarterly Training, titled: Building Strong Foundations: Early Childhood Education, Childcare Benefits, and Children’s Mental Health.

Youth are the future, and they are making a big impact today! Join our team as the new Youth Support Partner (YSP) to help keep the momentum going.

This position requires an individual who has experience with navigating behavioral health issues and experience as a caregiver of a young child with behavioral health issues. The YSP adds value to the team through their ability to engage families at a level that people without this experience would not. They will help families navigate uncomfortable environments, identify and engage natural support, and assist families to build skills and increase their self-efficacy.
