It was founded in 1991 in Chicago by the African People's Socialist Party. InPDUM membership is open to anyone united with democracy for the African community and that self-determination is the highest expression of democracy. InPDUM San Diego upholds the memory of Brother Amin Abdullah, a hero of the Muslim and Black community who martyred an act of colonial violence, in defense of young children and the community at the Islamic Center of San Diego on Monday May 18, 2026.
InPDUM San Diego stands ready to support the community and his family in any way we are called upon. One day ahead of Malcolm X Day and a week ahead of African Liberation Day, we uphold the memory of this African hero and warrior. Long Live Brother Amin Abdullah, beloved by all who knew him.
