Long Elementary School

🚧 Summer Renovation Update! 🚧

Exciting things are happening at Long Elementary! This summer, our hallways are getting new low-maintenance vinyl flooring, classrooms are receiving new carpet, and kindergarten and the art room will be updated with vinyl flooring.

We're also creating a fourth "right-sized" kindergarten classroom. Finally, we are adding cubbies to classrooms that don't currently have them to increase functionality and storage for students.

All this summer work means our teachers packed up all their classrooms and EVERYTHING was moved into our new gym.

We can't wait to share more progress as we continue transforming our school!

Day one of Long’s Got Talent was great! We enjoyed so many wonderful performances today and we are excited to have more tomorrow! It was wonderful to be able to use our new gym for this event.

Field Day Fun!!!!

We are so proud of our book battle team! 19 schools from the St. Louis area, including our Long Leaders, took part in the 2026 Book Battle. We're so proud of their hard work! Also, a huge shout out to Mrs. Levine for providing students this opportunity!

Way to go team Long! The Girls on the Run race had beautiful weather on Saturday. A huge shout out to our AMAZING coaches for providing our girls this opportunity.
