--What are the eligibility requirements? All Clinton-Peabody residents are eligible to enroll in the Jobs Plus program. Non-residents are not eligible.

--How do I enroll into the Jobs Plus program? and social security card to the Jobs Plus office to enroll. The Jobs Plus Office is located on the 2nd floor of the Al Chappelle Center at 1401 LaSalle Lane, St. Louis, MO 63104. Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

--Can anyone in my household enroll in the Jobs Plus Program? Yes. Anyone living in your household, who is listed on your lease agreement, may participate in the program. However, to qualify for the Jobs Plus Earned Income Disregard, the head of household must be enrolled in the Jobs Plus program.

--What is the Jobs Plus Earned Income Disregard or JPEID? The Earned Income Disregard is a financial incentive that allows you to keep more of your earned income while your rent expense remains the same. This benefit is available for the entire 4-year period.

--Do I have to participate in all of the Jobs Plus program services if I only
want to benefit from the JPEID? No. You do not have to engage in all of the Jobs Plus program services to benefit from the Earned Income Disregard incentive. However, you will only benefit from the incentive if your earned income increases. Your lane manager will discuss how the JPEID will affect your household. Once you have enrolled in the Jobs Plus program, we recommend that you attend Jobs Plus 101 Orientation and receive financial literacy coaching.

--What is a Community Coach? The Clinton-Peabody Community is divided into four zones. A community coach has been assigned to each zone to serve residents better. Each community coach is responsible for promoting the Jobs Plus program. They also survey residents to find out their needs, goals, concerns, requests and to provide feedback to and from the Jobs Plus staff.

--How can I become a Community Coach? Once every six months new community coaches are hired through the Jobs Plus Program. Anyone interested in this part-time opportunity should complete a Jobs Plus Community Coach application. You can pick up an application at the Al Chappelle Center reception desk once recruitment flyers are distributed within the community.

--What happens if I move from the Clinton-Peabody Development? If you move from the Clinton-Peabody community, you are no longer eligible to participate in the Jobs Plus program or receive the JPEID incentive. You will still be able to continue any training program in which you have enrolled. Any other job placement services can be accessed through the SLATE American Job Center located at 1520 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103.
