German teacher Brian Jacob was selected as one of three teachers in the nation to attend the American Association of Teachers of German's (AATG) centennial national conference as a 2026 German Embassy Teacher of Excellence Award. LHS is blessed to have a strong language program and Mr. Jacob plays a huge role in sustaining that success!

One week later, and we’re still looking back at Graduation 2026. LHS digital communications intern Ella Sabic was on the floor and did a wonderful job capturing the excitement of the evening. Once a Flyer, always a Flyer!

Congratulations to LHS Senior William Lin! He was selected by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals as one of the top 100 seniors in the state of Missouri. In order to qualify for the Missouri Scholars 100 program, students must hit the benchmark on 10 different rigorous standards. He was recognized at a banquet in Columbia, MO this past Sunday. William plans to attend the University of Pennsyvlania next year! We wish him the best of luck and we are so proud of his accomplishments!

Huge shoutout to Braden Wheatley (11) and Grant Thomas (12) for representing LHS at the Greater St. Louis Business Aviation Association luncheon!

As an AOPA curriculum school, our students were invited to share how their aviation classes have shaped their future college and career goals. They are pictured here alongside the AOPA representative who flew in for the event.

Great job, Braden and Grant—the sky is the limit! 🛫

A quick story (with perfect timing) in honor of our lunch heroes:

Today was our senior picnic. I asked a senior to name off some of his favorite teachers at Lindbergh and he gave me a healthy list! He then paused and told me that he also loved our lunch crew! He talked about how they all got to know him over four years and how they always looked out for him! These individuals are often unsung members of our Flyer family, but they make a huge difference to many students. Working lunch at our high school is particularly unique and we couldn't do power lunch without them! So, I wish every one of them my words of gratitude on behalf of all students and staff at Lindbergh High School!

Building real-world skills at Lindbergh High School! 🎓💼

Our AVID 10 students had an incredible opportunity this week to participate in mock interviews with members of our local community. This experience allowed students to take what they’ve learned in the classroom and apply it in a professional setting.

During the sessions, students practiced answering common interview questions, refined their verbal communication skills, and received valuable, constructive feedback on their resumes.

We want to extend a huge thank you to our Lindbergh community volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to mentor our students. Your expertise is invaluable in helping us prepare these for their next steps in academia and beyond!
