We support Court Appointed Special Advocates - CASA volunteers - who advocate for children in foster care in St. Louis. Louis city and county foster care.

Our effective, compassionate advocacy helps reunify families and reduce the number of children in foster care. Every day, judges, child welfare professionals and caregivers make decisions that affect children who, through no fault of their own, were removed from the care of their parents and brought into state custody. This week, we’re celebrating CASA volunteers Judith and Gretchen, along with Case Advocacy Supervisor Brian, who attended the SAFETI Court graduation celebration on May 27 as the biological mothers on each of their cases reached an incredible milestone.

After more than 400 days of sobriety in this rigorous treatment program, both mothers successfully graduated and were reunited with their children.

CASA volunteers walk alongside families through some of their hardest moments, and this celebration was a reminder of what can happen when parents are given support, stay committed, and keep working toward reunification.

Not every case has this kind of ending, which makes moments like these especially meaningful.

This National Missing Children's Day, we stand with affected families and communities as we remember the children who are still missing and the ongoing efforts to bring them home.

We're sharing an important resource from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention to help understand what to do if you find yourself in this situation. This guide offers guidance, support, and steps to take during a crisis.

A few of our staff members got to enjoy an afternoon at the St. Louis Cardinals game thanks to the generosity of one of our amazing board members, who donated tickets for two different games. ⚾️

With seats in the 4th row just off the Cardinals dugout, it was such a fun opportunity for staff to relax, connect, and enjoy a well-deserved afternoon together outside the office. We’re so grateful for supporters who care so deeply about our team!
