HONORING EXCELLENCE IN THE FIRE SERVICE!

Yesterday, at the Greater St. Louis Area Fire Chiefs Association Awards Ceremony, Monarch Fire Protection District crews received two Unit VI Citations, and several of our members earned Silver Medals for outstanding actions.

We couldn't be prouder of these men and women. Their courage, dedication, and commitment to others represent the very best of the fire service.

It is an honor to serve alongside such extraordinary individuals. Congratulations to everyone recognized!

Two of our own, Maschmeier and Miller, hope to step into the ring for Guns & Hoses 2026!

These guys are ready to put in the work, lace up the gloves, and represent not only Monarch Fire Protection District but first responders everywhere! We’re crossing our fingers that they get their shot in the ring, and you better believe we’ll be there cheering them on!

DIFFERENT DISTRICTS. ONE TEAM. ONE MISSION.

When someone is having their worst day, teamwork makes all the difference. Calls like this remind us that emergency response goes far beyond one department. It's about firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, and neighboring agencies coming together, combining their training, skills, and resources to get the job done. Different uniforms, different departments, but one common goal: being there when our community needs us most.
Because when seconds matter, teamwork saves lives.

Monarch FPD is extremely grateful for the opportunity to be spotlighted in the Missouri EMS Association (MEMSA) statewide Connection Magazine! This was an amazing opportunity to highlight the excellent work that our clinicians are doing in the field every day for our patients.

We are proud to be able to share our successes and failures with others to help further the profession of EMS, as one of only a handful of districts that practice dual-role fire-based critical care prehospital medicine.

For decades, the IAFF and MDA have worked hand in hand to support individuals and families living with neuromuscular diseases.
