We've been hard a work rehearsing for Friday night the Saint Louis Art Museum! (If by working you mean having a blast in rehearsal...). This program is a favorite for us - a chance to play things that are new to us or too unusual for a standard program. For example, one of the pieces involves 8 musician but is only 5 minutes long! It's really fun to dive into these hidden gems together!
You can take your own deep-dive into the Visions of Antiquity exhibit with curator-led tours. The concert on Friday expands on the themes of the exhibit through music. If cool and a bit quirky is your thing, then don't miss this program!
PS - it's all free...

On May 13, our very popular Very Open Rehearsal goes south to a new location and features two musicians who make their Chamber Project debut. How do we welcome them? By tossing them into one of the scariest gigs they've ever had!
Italian mezzo Benedetta Orsi and pianist Young Whun Kim, both of whom we've been eager to collaborate with for years, will join us for our final concert of the season. We were so excited that our schedules finally aligned, that we ask them to jump all the way in and present the scariest thing we ask musicians to do - a Very Open Rehearsal!

Excitement is growing for Friday night! It's time for the annual Wet Ink concert at Webster University! This year students have selected text to set to music, learning about the differences between writing for instruments and voice. Each of the six works is unique and engaging! It's always a joy to hear what the next generation of music makers is creating!
