💜 Purple Thursday is October 15 💜

Join us in wearing purple to show support for domestic violence survivors and help raise awareness about domestic violence prevention.

A simple act, like wearing purple, can help start important conversations and show survivors they are not alone.

Encourage your colleagues, classmates, friends, and family to wear purple on Thursday, October 15, and stand together in support of survivors.

📚 It's Banned Books Week!

At , we support the freedom to read and explore a wide range of ideas and perspectives. Banned Books Week celebrates open access to information and raises awareness of books that have been challenged or banned.

Visit the Forest Park Campus Library to view our display featuring several of the Top 11 Most Challenged Books of 2025, learn why these titles were challenged, and discover resources that support the freedom to read. Pick up a bookmark and explore books that have sparked conversations, inspired change, and encouraged critical thinking.

✈️ Join the STLCC Library Speaker Series for "My Necessary Turbulence" with Dr. Elizabeth Granier.

As a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and a veteran who served during the period surrounding September 11, 2001, Dr. Granier will share her journey as part of the historic legacy of women attending U.S. service academies. This presentation commemorates the 50th anniversary of women entering the nation's service academies.
