Ms. Kedro, one of our kindergarten teachers, is featured in this Mehlville School District Staff Spotlight!

Staff Spotlight: April Kedro began teaching in the Mehlville School District in 2002. After teaching at Bernard Elementary School for a year, she transferred to Point Elementary School where she is now in her 24th year teaching kindergarten. She enjoys working at Point because of the school’s community and the daily collaboration between her kindergarten team to help every student succeed.

“The best part of my job is the contagious enthusiasm my students bring to the classroom every day. They have a genuine love for trying new things. Whether we are learning a new letter, mastering a math concept or conducting a science experiment, they react as if it’s the absolute best day ever! Every single day is a new adventure, and my passion is helping them build a lifelong love for school and learning.” 💙
