πππ Making a Difference on Ms. Carolyn Taylorβs L10 Bus Route! πππ
During the last week of school, 5 On Your Sideβs Hall of Fame broadcaster Mike Bush visited Spoede Elementary to celebrate a legendary member of our school community, Ms. Carolyn Taylor!
Ms. Taylor retired at the end of this school year after 27 years total in the district, including an incredible 25 years of driving the exact same route for Spoede. To honor her remarkable dedication, the community came together the week prior for their 19th Annual Bus Stop Bash!
Making her final routes even more special, two current Ladue Schools employees, Riley Deutsch (Spoede Elementary 2nd grade teacher) and Lindsay Rich (Old Bonhomme Elementary 4th grade teacher), who are both former Spoede students and former L10 bus riders, jumped on board to ride with her one final time. π’
You can check out this beautiful tribute on KSDK's "Making a Difference" feature this Sunday, June 7, at 10 p.m. and again on Monday at 5 p.m. Stay tuned to our page next week as we share the full feature from KSDK.com!
Join us in wishing Ms. Taylor a happy, well-deserved retirement in the comments below! ππ
