Till the end of October, Buerkle Middle School is participating in a hat and glove drive in cooperation with the St. Louis Police Family Association & Hartman Tax Services. Approximately 500 Police Vehicles in the St. Louis County will have at least 2 to 3 sets of Winter hats & gloves to give to the homeless during this Winter Months. If you're interested We are asking donations till the end of October. you can drop them off on Oct. 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th & 26th between the hours of 3pm to 5pm at 623 Buckley Rd. St. Louis, MO 63125

The Mehlville/Oakville Foundation administers the following programs to benefit the students:
1. Tutoring budget for tutors to help at risk students.
2. Teachers Mini grants awarded for exciting, innovative lesson plans for the students.
3. School grants awarded to encourage school wide educational experiences.
4. Scholarships awarded to encourage students to continue their education.
5. Special educational programs funded at individual schools.
6. Special funds raised for enhancements to designated district projects.
7. Facilitator for special rebates and donations that must go through a not-for-profit group.
