Give STL Day is a 24-hour online day of giving event that is designed to ignite the spirit of giving across the region in support of causes in the St. Louis area. Last year, Give STL Day received more than 20,000 individual donations and raised more than $2.4 million for 868 nonprofits. Since its inception in 2014, Give STL Day has raised over $9.9 million for regional nonprofits in the St. Louis area.

As we are always open to opportunities that allow us to connect and engage with people who share in our vision of providing housing and additional services to our veterans, we are both honored and humbled to have been invited to take part in this day of giving!

Give STL Day will take place this year on May 1, from midnight to midnight. For our supporters who are going to be in the St. Louis area on May 1st, we would love for them to save the date for this event so that they can participate with us on that day. For our supporters who will not be in the St. Louis area on May 1st, you can participate by prescheduling your gift anytime between April 2nd - April 30th via www.givestlday.org/missionhomes. Please be sure to share this event with your friends and family who would also like to participate!

We have passed the 400 mark for page likes! From all of us at Mission: H.O.M.E.S., we would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported and continue to support our daily efforts to provide housing and additional services to veterans who are in dire need. It is our firm belief that the words "Homeless" and "Veteran" are two words that should never be associated with one another, and we work tirelessly everyday to remove that phrase from common and everyday use.

Thanks again to all of you, as there aren't enough words to express just how much your support is appreciated!

We attended a press conference held by the St. Louis Area Regional Commission on Homelessness to work together to bring the number of veterans who are without homes down to functional zero by Veterans Day of this year. It’s an ambitious goal, but it is a goal that can be reached with like-minded organizations working together for a common cause!

For all that our soldiers sacrifice when they are away from their families while serving our country, it tugs at the heart when you're able to witness a soldier being fortunate enough to be at home to celebrate in a precious moment such as being present at their mother's wedding.

What a beautiful moment!
