A reminder for all those who drive through Forest Park. HAYRIDES begin October 6. Roads around Central Fields are closed. Hayrides run every Friday and Saturday night 5p to 10p. October 6 to November 18.

The Ranger's were notified of an injured bird in Forest Park. We discovered this little Red Tail Hawk fledgling and notified the World Bird Sanctuary in Valley Park, MO. He was in pretty bad shape, and while this story does not have a happy ending for this little guy, we thank the park patron who alerted us. We also want to thank the World Bird Sanctuary for there quick response and grand efforts put forth to do all they could for this noble bird of prey.
