Today, we are celebrating our wonderful custodians, Yolanda, Michael, and Matt!

Thank you for all you do each day to keep our buildings clean, safe, and welcoming for our students and staff. So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, but it makes a BIG difference in our school community!

LECE Principal Kaitlyn McGovern has been named Lindbergh Leader of the Year! 🎉👏 🏆💚💛

The announcement was made at Lindbergh Schools' Rah Rah Day - our district-wide celebration for the start of the new school year - where the LECE staff surprised Kaitlyn with all kinds of cheer!

Congratulations, Kaitlyn! We could not agree more!
You are THE BEST!

1,654 BOOKS!

That is how many books were logged by ECE Summer Camp Flyers at school and at home during our LECE Summer Reading Club partnership with the St. Louis County Library.

Way to go, Flyers! 💚 💛

That's an average of 150 books per week over the 11 weeks of Summer Camp. WOW.

Please join us in welcoming Sarah Johnson to LECE! Sarah is our newest Administrative Assistant. If you're a Summer Camp family, you've already had the chance to meet her. For everyone joining us this fall, you'll find Sarah at our Center campus.

We're excited to welcome her to LECE and know she'll have a positive impact on our students, families, and staff.

As the new school year gets closer, we wanted to make sure you have our Meet the Teacher event on your calendar.

On Thursday, August 20, come meet your child's classroom staff and see their classroom before the first day of school.

Half-Day Families: 2:30–4:00 p.m.
Full-Day Families: 4:00–5:30 p.m.

Classroom placements and room locations will be shared in early August.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another great school year!

Our Caterpillar Room preschoolers turned a simple idea into something truly meaningful for Ronald McDonald House Charities and the impact is amazing. We are so proud of the way these students are learning about kindness, service and community.

The Lindbergh Early Childhood PTO is the absolute best!

They win FIRST PLACE 🏆 in our hearts for all of their support this year! Thank you to all the families who have participated in all of the PTO's events this year! 💚💛💚💛💚💛

This month we surprised our teachers and staff with an energy themed cheer cart full of their favorite caffeinated beverages!

There are lots of benefits to being a part of an amazing school district, like Lindbergh Schools. One benefit that has been especially fun during our Month of the Young Child celebration has been our partnership with the students in the LHS Child Development II Class. Each week, they spend time connecting with our students, observing our teachers, and learning about child development. This week, the students culminated their work in our classrooms by leading a lesson.

The Turtle Class' student read a fan favorite - Giraffes Can't Dance and then introduced the students to her clarinet!
