Join us TONIGHT, Thursday, October 22nd, 2026 at 5:30 PM for our monthly Happy Hour at Odditeas Cafe located at 1116 Olive Street.

Since our October Happy Hour falls during Halloween season, we’ll be celebrating with a little Halloween fun! While certainly not required, feel free to wear a costume or your favorite Halloween attire.

About the business: Odditeas Cafe and Artistic Lounge opened last summer offering coffee, tea, pastries, as well as other savory dishes, cocktails, and b**r. The cafe also features local art and events. Located next to the existing Crack Fox.

This week at Selkirk Auction House:

Selkirk’s upcoming Modernism & Contemporary sale features an eclectic collection of mid-century modern furniture and lighting, post-war and contemporary fine art, decorative arts, and works by artists including Rabbett Before Horses, Mikhaïl Turovsky, Brother Mel Meyer, Paul Jenkins and numerous regional artists.

The gallery is open for public preview now through Friday, October 23, from 10 AM–5 PM.

On Friday, October 23 from 5–8 PM, Selkirk will host a Cocktail Reception, with music from DJ Sonic Space beginning at 5:30 PM.

The auction begins Saturday, October 24 at 10 AM.

Whether you’re an art collector, love mid-century design, or simply want to experience one of Downtown’s unique businesses, this is a great opportunity to stop in, explore the gallery and see what catches your eye.

🔥 Downtown neighbors take on City Museum! 🦇

Saturday night, a few of our members traded the downtown sidewalks for the tunnels, coffins and sideshow stage at City Museum, one of the most one-of-a-kind places in our neighborhood (and maybe the country).

The night's highlights:
🔥 A fire-eater lighting up the stage at Doctor Terminus' Odditorium
🧛 A fanged welcome committee waiting in the Halloween-decked lounge
🦖 Climbing through giant jaws, caves and wire spirals, because you're never too old for City Museum
⚡ One electric chair we politely declined to sit in

It was a great reminder of how lucky we are to have a place like this right in our backyard. Thanks to everyone who came out!

What a great evening celebrating National Night Out in Downtown St. Louis! 💙

It was wonderful seeing our neighbors, local Aldermen, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department come together for a night of great conversations, new connections, and community spirit.

Events like these remind us what makes downtown so special—the people who live here, serve here, and genuinely care about making our neighborhood a better place.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening such a success! Here's to building a stronger, safer, and more connected downtown St. Louis! 🏙️❤️
