Stix Early Childhood Center

As another wonderful school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our amazing Stix families and community. 💙❤️💛🐻 This year was filled with learning, laughter, growth, and memories that will last a lifetime. None of it would have been possible without the incredible support from our families. Thank you for volunteering your time, donating to charities, participating in fundraisers, attending events, and continuously supporting our students and staff throughout the year. Your kindness and dedication help make Stix such a special place for children to learn and grow.

We would also like to recognize our May Staff Member of the Month, Ms. Mask!Ms. Mask is a past Educator of the Year recipient! Ms. Mask has shown unwavering commitment to Stix students year after year. She creates meaningful, fun, and unique learning experiences that her students will remember forever. Her passion, creativity, and love for teaching shine through in everything she does, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our Stix family. Congratulations as well to our May Students of the Month! These students have spent the entire school year being their best selves, showing kindness, responsibility, perseverance, and representing our school values each and every day. We are incredibly proud of the example they set for others.
We are so thankful for all of our Stix Bears and the families who support us so faithfully. Thank you for helping make this school year one to remember. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and joyful summer!

FIELD DAY🥏🏅What a successful and fun field day! The students had a blast running, playing, and enjoying their final days together. Thank you to all families who came and supported a station 🙏 We would not be able to have these fun days without our amazing staff and families!

LAST PTO Meeting Tonight!!

Please come out if you can. We'll be recapping the year and looking forward with new ideas. We also have two leadership positions open for next year. (I know you all secretly want to join the Leadership team! 😉🤣)

Meet us at the Tower Grove Playground to celebrate the end of the school year by coming out to play after school! All are welcome, including future families.

The PTO will provide light snacks and drinks.

Feel free to bring your own snacks, blankets, chairs, and drinks.

We will also be doing a uniform swap too (optional)!

Green School Quest Rookie Winners! 🌎
As many of you know, Stix raised over $1,000 to help build a well in Africa. This well will provide clean water to a community that previously had to travel over an hour just to access a clean water source. There were 82 Missouri schools participating and Stix was chosen as the winner!!!!
Thank you to all of our Stix students and families who participated in the many fundraisers that helped us reach this incredible goal! Your support truly made a difference.
A special thank you to Ms. Greer, Ms. Kovac, and Ms. Mask for all of your hard work, planning, and dedication in making this project a success!

Hi Bears!!🐻 Let’s have some end of year fun with a summer theme spirit week ☀️😎Next week, May 11th-15th we will be dressing up and getting pumped for summer!

**The last week of school will be a dress down week- wear what you want! Uniforms will not be required :)**

Saturday is Stix's annual Spring Garden Day Clean Up. 🌸🪏 If you would like to come and volunteer some of your time this Saturday to help us beautify our garden and our school, we would greatly appreciate it.😁

We want to give a big shoutout to some truly amazing students and staff members this month! Every day, we’re lucky to share our halls with creative, smart, and hilarious kids. This month, a few students really stood out for their positive attitudes, kindness, and for always showing up as their best selves. We are beyond grateful to have them as part of our STIX family! ❤️

We also want to recognize two incredible staff members: Ms. Kovac and Ms. J! 🎉

Ms. Kovac has taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and now 1st grade, and in every role she goes above and beyond for her students. Whether her class is raising chicks, releasing butterflies, planting in the school garden, or raising money for charities, she creates meaningful experiences that help her students learn and grow into amazing little humans. And Ms. J..what can we say? To know her is to love her! From working the front desk and supporting families to tying shoes and stepping into classrooms whenever needed, she consistently goes above and beyond. No matter the role, she shows up with care, dedication, and a willingness to help wherever she’s needed. We are so grateful to have both of these incredible educators on our STIX team. Our school is better because of them! ❤️
