MVHP has joined Mid America Veterans Museum! We are thrilled to say that we have a new home dedicated to preserving history one story at a time located in O'Fallon, Mo. Our volunteers continue to march forward with the mission to collect oral histories of our nation's veterans. And, now, we can also arrange to include artifacts for the museum as well. Missouri Veterans History Project Joins Mid America Veterans Museum | Mid American Veterans Museum [St. Louis, MO] – August 27, 2025 – Missouri Veterans History Project (MVHP) has officially joined Mid America Veterans Museum (MAVM), combining their efforts to preserve, honor, and share the stories of our veterans from across the Midwest.

Had the opportunity to interview Jim Boden for the Missouri Veterans History Project. Jim served in the US Army from 1968-70. Attending with me is John Hilmes (Interviewer) and Chris Crawford (Videographer) . Special Thanks to Mason Point LSS for providing the room to do the interview.

Had the pleasure of interviewing 2 Vets yesterday. Don Wiggins US Army, & Ken Torretta USAF. Assisting Me was Repps Hudson and Dan Oliver doing the Interviewing. Special thanks to Cape Albeon Sr. Living in Valley Park for hosting the Interviews.

MVHP had the Opportunity to interview 2 Veterans this week. Sandy Ghormley was a US Navy Nurse, and Dan Sullivan who served in the US Army. We would like to thank both of them for their service!

We had the pleasure to interview 98 yr old Richard Mabrey US Army 1944-45. Richard was stationed in Japan right after the 2 bombs were dropped.

Missouri Veterans History Project had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Chuck Schumer US Army 1967 to 1994 .
