Kendyll is one of our research assistants at the LCBD. Their favorite thing about the LCBD is talking to participants about all the cool science we do in the lab! As a kid, Kendyll loved to play with Littlest Pet Shops and Webkinz, and they read many book series including Warrior Cats, Redwall, Harry Potter, and Spirit Animals. They also played video games including Animal Jam and Wizard101, and enjoyed sports such as archery and swimming. Today Kendyll still loves to play video, board, and tabletop games with their friends, and is an aspiring fantasy writer! They also enjoy visiting state and national parks and being outside in nature. Their cat Friedrich keeps them company in their apartment where he loves to play with toys and cuddle! Kendyll wants families at the LCBD to know they appreciate involving their kids in science from a young age!

St. Louis experienced significant storm damage from the tornado that passed through the area on Friday, May 16th. Many individuals have been left without power or shelter. We have compiled a list of resources as well as donation and volunteering information for anyone who was personally impacted by the recent storm or would like to help with community recovery efforts. Please visit organization websites for more specific details about signing up to help volunteer, or visit https://stlouis.washu.edu/st-louis-storm-recovery-efforts/ for more information!
