A heartfelt thank you to the Village of Brooklyn Police Department for hosting the 4th annual "Shop with a Cop" event with the wonderful students from Lovejoy School. This memorable day allowed students to connect with law enforcement, experience rides in police vehicles, and enjoy the joy of Christmas shopping! ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ ๐ ๐
Our appreciation also goes to our Mayor and the dedicated Village staff for their efforts in making this day truly special.

Our last planning session is the resource session because we have a number of guests coming from various agencies to talk with us about how they can help us achieve our goals. We will have guests from agencies such as the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, IDOT, the Illinois Housing Development Authority, etc.

The Brooklyn Revitalization Project has been very successful and we are approaching our last two mapping and planning meetings. Tonight we will be using an electronic polling system to prioritize the strategies that were brainstormed in last weekโs session! Then we will be forming action teams to work on the goals and start to brainstorm our initial projects!
