In 2007, the residents of College Hill shared that they would like a place for the children to play and families to come together. Today the installation of the first pocket park came to fruition. LHS and the College Hill Foundation would like to thank ALL it’s partners and volunteers that enabled the resident’s vision come to life!

Join Nicole Ridley and Fred Kimbrough of LCMS National Housing Support Corporation (NHSC) for a free webinar on “Community Development and Mission” from 1–2 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, May 15.
Ridley is chief executive for NHSC, and Kimbrough serves as director of Projects and Lending. During the webinar, they will explore ways to actively engage in community development through asset-based mapping, social enterprise and strategic planning.
You’ll also learn how these tools can impact inner-city challenges such as affordable housing, education, transportation, access to food, employment and crime.
