National EMS Week is an annual, week-long observance that honors the lifesaving work of EMTs, paramedics, and other prehospital emergency care providers. Established in 1974 by President Gerald Ford, it is celebrated nationwide to recognize the vital role these professionals play in the healthcare profession. As national EMS week comes to a close we would like to thank the firefighters that serve this district daily.

Spanish Lake Fire District has 13 Paramedics and two EMTs that serve the Fire District 24 hours a day seven days a week. We thank all these members for their dedication and passion for their service to our great Fire District.
