Phone scams are on the rise! Please remember, official agencies and governments will never call, text, or email you with requests for money. They will never direct you to purchase money orders, gift cards, or provide bank account details. Scammers have the ability to spoof phone numbers and make it seem like the call is coming from a legitimate authority. If you receive a call like this, hang up the phone. Independently search for the phone number for the agency and call them to verify they were trying to reach you. This week was National Security Officer Appreciation Week! Protective Services had a day dedicated to our response officers, investigators, and physical security group. We received some great snacks and wonderful thank you notes. And, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to say thank you to our amazing campus security partners, Barnes-Jewish Public Safety, Children's Hospital Public Safety, University of Sciences and Pharmacy Public Safety, Metro Public Safety, and Allied Universal. This campus could not function without the teamwork we have all created!
