My thoughts and prayers are with Alderman Paul Zerbe's wife, children, loved ones, and the entire Edmundson community during this difficult time.

After School Meals end this Friday–but Summer Lunches start on Monday June 1! Six SLCL branches will offer a nutritious lunch from Operation Food Search along with fun activities for kids ages 18 and under from 12:00–1:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Pizza will be provided on Fridays, sponsored by the St. Louis County Library Foundation. More info at https://www.slcl.org/summer-lunches

Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer — it is a day of remembrance for those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation.

We pause today to honor our fallen service members and thank the families who continue to carry their legacy forward. May we never forget their bravery and devotion to this country.
