🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💗

This month, we stand together to honor survivors, support those currently fighting breast cancer, and remember the loved ones we have lost. Breast cancer affects individuals, families, and communities, and raising awareness is an important step toward early detection and better outcomes.

💕 Remember to:
🎀 Schedule your routine screenings.
🎀 Know what is normal for your body and talk to your healthcare provider about any changes.
🎀 Encourage your loved ones to stay up to date on their screenings.
🎀 Show support to those affected by breast cancer.

Together, we can spread awareness, encourage early detection, and remind those fighting this battle that they are not alone.

💗 Wear pink, spread hope, and stand together in the fight against breast cancer! 🎀

🚨 Stallings PD Brag Post: Certified Overachievers Edition 🚨

Please join us in congratulating two of our finest, who apparently decided free time is for quitters.

🎯 Cpl. Larson has earned his Tactical Training Certificate from the North Carolina Justice Academy. That's 400+ training hours and more classes than most of us have taken since high school. Rumor has it he now enters rooms so tactically that even the furniture feels outflanked. We've asked him to stop clearing the break room before grabbing coffee. He has not stopped.

🎓 Detective Sgt. Ivy-Brooks has earned his Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate from the North Carolina Justice Academy, backed by not one but TWO bachelor's degrees (Criminal Justice and Human Services), 480+ training hours, and years of service. So he can arrest you AND help you process your feelings about it. Full-service policing. Rumor has it he alphabetizes his case files by emotional complexity.

Combined, that's nearly 900 hours of training, which is roughly the amount of time it takes the rest of us to find a working pen in the squad room.

Congratulations, gentlemen. Stallings is safer, smarter, and slightly more insufferable at roll call because of you. 💙🚔
