While electricity prices rose across most of the country, Connecticut went the other way.

📉 CT electricity bills: DOWN 10.6%
📈 U.S. average: UP about 5%

Connecticut had the largest percentage decrease in electricity prices of any state from June 2025 to June 2026.

Today, the C.A.R.T Act became law

Thank you to Governor for signing our landmark artificial intelligence legislation into law.

Connecticut is stepping into an AI future with clear rules, public trust, and human accountability : Where protecting people and fostering innovation are not competing goals but shared responsibilities.

This law protects children, workers, and consumers while helping prepare our schools, businesses, workforce, and government for what comes next with AI.

Thank you to Senator , the Connecticut AI Caucus, Attorney General , Senator , Senator Martin Looney, Rep. , Rep. , and every advocate, expert, worker, and stakeholder who helped bring this work across the finish line.

Today, Connecticut helped lead the way.

Today's passage of Senate Bill 4 by the House is a tremendous victory for every Connecticut resident. This bill puts protections on Facial Recognition, makes it easier to exercise your right to delete your data from data brokers and people tracking websites, and prevents predatory surveillance pricing. It has been a privilege to collaborate with my colleagues in the effort to protect the residents of Connecticut.
