Lincoln County Fire Station 3 Moreland Fire Department The Moreland Fire Department is part of the Lincoln County Fire Protection District. We are station #3 out of 7 total stations.

We are all ran as a volunteer emergency service. We consist of a roster of about 20 firefighters based at our station which consist of 5 officers and 15 firefighters. We run a Engine, Tanker, & Rescue/Brush Truck.

We want to send our thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Annita, Brad, Brett, and the entire Witte family. Jason was an important part of our community and fire department. We lean on the Wittes for accident cleanups and for providing vehicles for us to do vehicle extrication training. Jason always helped out with anything we needed and he will be greatly missed.

Thank you to Anheuser-Busch and National Volunteer Fire Council for the generous donation of canned drinking water! And thank you to Kentucky Eagle for taking the time to deliver the water to our fire station. The water will help keep our responders safe & hydrated while they battle wildfires and respond to long incidents in extreme heat.

This water was provided through the Emergency Drinking Water for Wildland Firefighters program. We’re thankful for the program & its mission to provide clean water to first responders during wildfire season. Learn more about the program at www.nvfc.org/water.

Keeping firefighters hydrated during long incidents or disasters such as wildfires is a critical need for fire departments. This program supports departments in meeting that need.

Thank you DripDrop and National Volunteer Fire Council for supporting our volunteer firefighters with a donation of DripDrop oral rehydration solution! Hydration is key to keeping our responders healthy and performing at their best, especially during prolonged jobs and excessive summer heat. We’ll keep these on our rigs so members have ready access to dehydration relief.
