The new bestsellers this week include "Strangers: A Memoir of Marriage," "A Parade of Horribles," and "Take Me to Your Leader: Perspectives on Your First Alien Encounter." The new movies this week include "Hoppers," "Star Wars: Original Trilogy," and "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off: The Complete Limited Series [Blu-ray]."

There are fifteen new bestsellers, 21 new movies, two new audiobooks, four new music CDs, 106 new children's books, and 475 other new books, including 500 that are available online.

The new bestsellers this week include "Ironwood," "Our Perfect Storm," and "The Things We Never Say." The new movies this week include "Avatar: Fire and Ash," "Reminders of Him," and "Goat."

The Gaston County Public Library and all its branch locations will be closed Monday, May 25th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, May 26th.
