Please join us in welcoming Nicole Henson to the Stanton Police Department!

Nicole recently joined our department and will officially begin working this week. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the contributions she will make to our community. Nicole will already be a familiar face to many in the area. From 2022–2026, she served as a Trooper with the Kentucky State Police, working in both Powell and Wolfe Counties.

We are excited to have Nicole, and we know that she will be a great addition to our Police Department.

We are under a Winter Storm Warning starting 7AM Saturday to Monday AM. Accumulating snow should arrive around 11am on Saturday. We will have accumulating snow, that amount is not 100% known at this time. However, we can expect 8 inches of snow or more. PLEASE if you have not prepared for this do so TODAY! Please make sure you have enough food for at least 5 days, alternative heat source in case of electric outages, also make sure if you have small animals they are brought inside or took care of properly. I will be posting a second post with information and tips for during the storm. Everyone please be safe and after the snow starts, please stay off of the roads, unless you have an emergency. We will keep you updated as we get updated information from the weather service.
