Today, we remember.
On this anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Stanton Fire Department pauses to honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the extraordinary courage shown on one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.
Twenty‑five years ago, 343 FDNY firefighters climbed the towers with unwavering determination, answering the call with the same bravery that defines our fire service today. Their sacrifice and the sacrifice of every first responder, paramedic, police officer, dispatcher, and civilian hero remains a guiding light for all who serve.
We remember the strength of the survivors.
We remember the families who carry the weight of that day.
We remember the unity that rose from the ashes, reminding us that even in tragedy, compassion and courage endure.
“Never Forget” is more than a phrase. It is a promise.
A promise to honor their memory.
A promise to carry forward their spirit of service.
A promise to stand together as a community.
Today, Stanton Fire Department bows its head in remembrance and lifts its heart in gratitude.
May we continue to serve with the same devotion, courage, and love for others that defined the heroes of 9/11.
We will never forget.
We will always remember.
