A Freeze Warning is in effect for the entire area Saturday morning. Cold weather will bring freezing temperatures. Take action now to protect your home and garden: Cover or bring sensitive plants indoors, disconnect garden hoses, and insulate exposed outdoor pipes.

Great work!!

🚗👏 Four days of learning. Four new letters. One dedicated community volunteer!

Help Stanton Fire & Rescue congratulate Kelsey Kander, RN, EMT—and now a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST)! 🎉

Kelsey spent four days in Omaha learning about child passenger safety, car seat installation, and helping caregivers through hands-on practice. She’s bringing that knowledge home to help educate and empower families in our community! ❤️

Her dedication doesn’t stop when class ends. Kelsey is excited to keep learning, gain experience, and help caregivers with their car seat questions. That willingness to grow and serve is something we’re proud to celebrate!

Thank you, Kelsey, for continuing to give your time and talents to our community. And a special shout-out to her husband for holding down the fort while she attended training—support at home helps make service like this possible! 🙌

Congratulations, Kelsey! Our community is lucky to have you! 🚒❤️
