Our Fullerton medical team took the assignment very seriously this Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every day, this team shows up for our neighbors in recuperative care with skill, compassion, and heart, and this week they showed up in pink, too. 🩷

Here's to everyone affected by breast cancer: the fighters, the survivors, the caregivers, and the ones we remember.

What an afternoon! Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's Women's Philanthropy Luncheon. Together, we raised more than $284,000 for children and families in Illumination Health + Home's care.

A highlight of the day was hearing from our speakers, Latasha, a former client, and Rose, a current member of our team. Each faced obstacles that could have defined their lives. Instead, they built better futures for themselves and their families, and today they give back to their communities. Their stories are why this work matters. Your generosity makes stories like theirs possible.

This year also marked 10 years of our Family Emergency Homes. For a decade, these homes have kept families together and given kids a safe place to start again. We couldn't have reached this milestone without this community.

We were also proud to honor West Coast University for their partnership and commitment to our community.

Tomorrow brings a real opportunity for Illumination Health + Home: We’re working with 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐂 on a Claude Impact Lab, hosted at EvoNexus, Irvine.

Builders from across Orange County are giving their Saturday to help us tackle challenges we face every day and prototype possible solutions that could help more people reach care, connect clients with the right resources and next steps, and build our frontline staff’s confidence using AI.

We’re grateful to 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐂 and EvoNexus for hosting, and for this opportunity to dig into how we can improve our work and help more people. Days like this move us closer to 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘳𝘶𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘺𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴.

For one night, they aren’t kids waiting for stability. They’re superheroes, princesses, and their favorite characters.

This Halloween, help us give 50 children in our Family Emergency Homes that same feeling. We’re collecting new or gently used costumes for children ages 0–17, with the greatest need for ages 6–15.

Ten years ago, Theriault House opened as our first Family Emergency Home, built in partnership with HomeAid Orange County Los Angeles. Yesterday, at our annual Women’s Philanthropy Luncheon, we celebrated a decade of giving families a safe place to land.

In 10 years, Theriault House alone has welcomed 266 families: 933 people, 574 of them children. Today, five additional Family Emergency Homes carry that work forward.

Every one of those numbers is someone who found safety, hope, and a home. Watch their story.

This Friday, we are proud to honor West Coast University at our Women’s Philanthropy Luncheon! 💙

A longstanding partner of Illumination Health + Home, WCU has supported the luncheon since its inception. Through clinical care, volunteer service, and an ongoing commitment to our mission, its students and staff continue to make a meaningful difference for the individuals and families we serve.

We are grateful for this enduring partnership and look forward to celebrating West Coast University on Friday!

A day filled with creativity, mindfulness, and connection at Shah Happiness Home! 🎨💙

Volunteers Joan K., Elizabeth, and Debbie spent time with children and parents painting rocks for the garden and making colorful Fruit Loop bracelets. They also provided a delicious meal for everyone to enjoy, including fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, salad, and desserts.

To complete the day, Elizabeth led a meditation session that gave families a peaceful moment to relax and practice mindfulness together.

We are so grateful to our volunteers for sharing their time and kindness with our families!
