Another community Halloween in the books. We had a great time and our little haunted house was amazing. Next year it will be even better. Just a few pics from tonight

.350 Legend Drawing for Star City Fire Department

We have been blessed here in Lincoln county to not have to battle any major wildfires, but other counties not so much. Pray for all firefighters and forestry personnel who have been battling these wild fires along with the heat, exhaustion, and being away from their families. Pray for their families as well. Pray for rain and cooler temps as we need some major relief!

🚒❤️ SEPTEMBER IS FIREFIGHTER APPRECIATION MONTH! ❤️🚒

To every firefighter — paid and volunteer — THANK YOU!

Thank you for answering the call when most people are running away from danger. Thank you for leaving your families, your jobs, your beds, and your everyday lives behind when that alarm sounds.

You respond in the middle of the night, in the pouring rain, in the freezing cold, and in the heat of the summer. You run toward fires, accidents, and dangerous situations because someone needs help.

To our volunteer firefighters, who give their time without expecting a paycheck — your sacrifice does not go unnoticed. You work regular jobs, take care of your families, and still drop everything when your community needs you.

To our career firefighters, thank you for dedicating your lives to protecting others and being ready around the clock.

Whether you wear the uniform as a career or volunteer, you are a firefighter — and you make a difference every single day.

Thank you for your courage.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
Thank you for your service.
Thank you for protecting our communities.

Please take a moment this month to thank a firefighter. A simple “Thank you for what you do” can mean more than you know.

🔥 We appreciate you. We support you. We stand behind you. 🔥

Happy Firefighter Appreciation Month to all of our firefighters! 🚒❤️
