Friday, May 22nd, Starbuck School District hosted our annual community BBQ to thank the community for all of their support throughout the school year. Earlier in the morning before the BBQ our students took time to walk to the local cemetery and assist our regional VFW chapter with placing flags at the gravesites of veterans.

ATTENTION: LIMITED PARKING FOR COMMUNITY BBQ

Starbuck School Families and Community Members:

Due to the construction materials and fencing currently occupying the majority of the parking lot at Starbuck School, parking for the upcoming community BBQ on Friday, May 20th, will be limited.

If possible, we are encouraging families and community members to park along Tucannon St (or any of the side streets) where possible and consider carpooling. When parking on the street, please be mindful not to block driveways.

If you have a loved one who may need assistance, including elderly members of families and/or community or individuals with mobility concerns, please feel free to drive up to the asphalt in front of the school and drop them off and then go park.

We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we continue construction improvements to our school. We look forward to seeing everyone at the BBQ!

Sincerely,
Starbuck Staff

On Wednesday May 13th we had a special guest drop in after school to visit Starbuck School after a 40+ year hiatus. Mr. Schweiger and his wife Leslie, stopped by for a visit and met up with one of his former students, our very own Mrs. Wooldridge. It was fun to hear them reminisce about his time here "back in the day". He taught elementary grades at Starbuck School from 1974-1979. Thank you for stopping by, Mr. Schweiger, it was an honor to meet you both.
