🏅 26.2 MILES. FULL BUNKER GEAR. ONE INCREDIBLE ACCOMPLISHMENT! 🚒🔥

Bradford County Fire Rescue is proud to recognize Firefighter/Paramedic Talise Romain for completing the Chicago Marathon in her firefighter bunker gear!

Completing 26.2 miles is an impressive accomplishment on its own, but doing so in bunker gear takes an extraordinary level of physical endurance, mental toughness, and determination.

Fire Chief Ben Carter shared his pride in Romain’s accomplishment:

“Talise’s accomplishment is nothing short of remarkable. Her determination, discipline, and willingness to push beyond her limits are a true reflection of her character. I couldn’t be prouder of her, and we’re fortunate to have someone of her caliber representing Bradford County Fire Rescue.”

Please join us in congratulating Talise on this incredible achievement! 👏🚒

Congratulations and thank you to Division Chief Dylan Rodgers!

Today at the County Commission meeting, we had the honor of recognizing Dylan for 17 years of dedicated service to Bradford County. Dylan has been involved in some form of public safety throughout his career, beginning as a Dispatcher with the Sheriff’s Office and a volunteer firefighter with Heilbronn Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Dylan has been an absolute cornerstone and instrumental to the success of our department.

While we are certainly going to miss his leadership and hard work every day, we are so excited for him as he takes on his next chapter in his new position with TraumaOne.
