♟️ Checkmate at Mississippi State University Libraries! ♟️

We’re proud to have hosted the 2026 Starkville Chess Tournament alongside the Bagley College of Engineering and Starkville High School! 🏆

Players of all ages and skill levels came together at Mitchell Memorial Library for a day of strategy, competition, and fun. From rated and unrated matches to the post-tournament Blitz Tournament, the chess community showed us that there’s always room for one more move.

A huge thank-you to all the players, families, volunteers, and partners who helped make this event a success!
