CARES of Central PA is an organization providing person-centered and community based services for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. We specialize in connecting our individuals with opportunities. CARES of Central PA is family focused, strength based and optimize opportunities for job training, employment, health, wellness,learning, independence, involvement in the community, vacation services and to provide long-term support for families in a residential setting.

And that’s a wrap on 2026 DSP Appreciation Week! 💙💚We are so grateful for our thoughtful and passionate DSPs who care for our VIPs day after day, truly impacting their lives in the most positive way. Special thanks to Doan's Bones Barbecue for a delicious meal, Classic Cones for the after lunch treat, and Greenwood Furnace State Park for hosting us today for our annual DSP Appreciation Week Picnic!

As CARES of Central PA continues to grow, we take this opportunity to reflect back on 10 years of celebrating our AMAZING DSPs! Here’s to the next 10! 🫶🏻
