Join us for an open house and become part of our community! P.S. 59 located near the Staten Island Ferry, promotes a collaborative and student-focused learning atmosphere. It prioritizes social-emotional responsiveness, equity, and student independence in every subject area. Through project-based learning, students enhance their skills in investigation, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and creativity as they explore the New York Harbor.

Our MSK girls proudly kicked off the school year by presenting the annual District 31 MSK for MSK Fundraiser at our first MSK meeting! 💗 In addition to launching our biggest fundraiser of the year, the girls opened their MSK Shops to raise money in support of a fellow MSK sister from IS 61 who is courageously battling bone cancer. 💛🎗️
Through sisterhood, kindness, and service, we continue to make a difference, one act of love at a time!

The field trips, cultural experiences, and enrichment programs that make Harbor View so special are possible because of the generosity of our incredible community. Thanks to your support, we've been able to provide these opportunities at no cost to our families! 🚌🎨🔬🎭
Now we're asking our Harbor View alumni and community members to help us cross the finish line. Whether it's $5, $25, or $100, every donation brings us one step closer to ensuring our students continue to enjoy these meaningful experiences.
