What a morning! Earlier today, a good Samaritan called 911 after she observed a momma-duck, who has been living in the area near a pond, looking down over a sewer grate...what she witnessed after, was heart-breaking; her babies had fallen down into the sewer. Our police officers arrived as well as our Emergency Services Unit to save the day! All ducklings accounted for & reunited with their momma.

Earlier this morning we had the pleasure of participating in the Elder Abuse Seminar hosted by our friends from the Community Agency for Seniors. It was a wonderful inter-agency event, where we all shared important information & resources for our Older Adult community. It's imperitive to have these collaborative events to spread awareness of crimes & scams targeting the elderly.
Thank you CASC for the invitation and we look forward to the next one!
