Hi Everyone, Who doesn't love pizza? Here's your chance to make your own pizza pie and get to take it home with you. At this fundraising event you get to do this along with food, sangria, wine, beer, an ice cream bar and fresh hot zeppole's. There will also be great raffle baskets. You'll have an exciting evening as the Verrazano Kiwanis Club and Modest Community Services host this fundraiser to benefit individuals with development disabilities. Modest Community Services is reaching out to you for your support by attending their Pizza Making Fundraiser hosted by the Verrazano Kiwanis Club. It will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at Bario's. The address is 446 Nome Avenue, Staten Island, from 7pm-10pm. The cost is $60 per person which includes food, sangria, soda, an ice cream bar, freshly made zeppole's and you can make your own pizza to take home. If you can't attend, please consider taking a signage sponsorship for $100. Your name will be placed on a sponsor board. There will also be great raffle baskets.

President's Day was originally established in 1879 to commemorate the birthday of George Washington, the first President of the United States. Since then, the holiday has evolved to recognize all presidents who have served the needs of the country. Modest Community Services celebrates President's Day and gives thanks to all the Presidents who have serviced our great country.

Modest Community Services was so grateful to receive a donation from Northfield Bank presented to us by Regina Boukhvalova. This will benefit the participants with developmental disabilities in our programs.

Modest Community Services celebrates the extraordinary life of Martin Luther King, Jr. who advocated the use of nonviolent means to end racial segregation.

We want to thank all of you for your support of our mission of caring for individuals with developmental disabilities. As we start the New Year, we are hopeful to continue what we do best of providing outstanding programs and services and welcome more individuals into our programs. Without you, we could not be as successful as we have been of helping our participants with the skills needed to live a more productive life.
