Welcome! This page is dedicated to Political ACTIONS, something we are all itching to do since Trump took office and the insanity has begun. Collaborate with us!

We are part of a growing population on Staten Island that are mad as hell at the insanity of the current administration and just want to do something to show the power we can have when we work together. We are dedicated to fact-checking our elected official and setting the record straight about what is really happening and the impact on us. We also want to promote actions and activities happening

Mike DeCillis is running for Congress. Allison is not! Don’t waste your vote if you want to unseat Malliotakis!

Staten Islanders gather at Malliotakis’ office to oppose health care cuts, ICE spending 06/02/2026

SIAC part of Staten Island 4 The People continues to protest in front of U.S. Rep. Nicole Malliotakis office on every Monday. She needs to hear us. We are her constituents. We have the right to meet with her and she has refused. She cannot continue with photo ops and ignore us. WE WILL NOT BE IGNORED

Staten Islanders gather at Malliotakis’ office to oppose health care cuts, ICE spending Protesters say the pending federal legislation would send $72 billion to ICE and border security while gutting vital health programs.

More obscene corruption in the Trump administration!

Countdown Calendar
155 days to Midterm Elections, Nov. 3, 2026 | 964 days to Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, 2029

MALLIOTAKIS MONDAY
Monday, June 1, 5 - 6 pm
1698 Victory Boulevard
Money for Health Care Not for ICE! Demand that Rep. Nicole Malliotakis vote against a new bill to give LOTS MORE money to ICE and border protection. That vote is happening very soon! We'll also be demanding that she work instead to restore HUGE health care spending cuts that she voted for as part of Donald Trump's -- it stole a whopping $1 trillion from Medicaid and safety net hospitals in order to giveaway HUGE tax cuts to billionaires, big corporations, and special interests. Tens of millions of lower income people will now lose their health insurance, and hospitals will become financially strained and some will close.

WE NEED A DEMOCRAT IN THE HOUSE
NOW WHAT? Primary Election Day is just around the corner and Allison Ziogas’s name still appears on the ballot event though she dropped out of the race due to health concerns. She will probably get some votes from people who don’t know she’s dropped out. (That’s a different problem for another time.)
By prematurely endorsing a candidate for the primary, the Richmond County Democratic Party has backed themselves into a corner. What does it prove if their endorsed-but-not-running candidate gets more votes? That they backed the right horse?
IF WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT UNSEATING MALLIOTAKIS AND RETAKING THE HOUSE, then RCDP has to throw their weight behind the only other person who can possibly run against Malliotakis. Is there some kind of political purity test that Mike DeCillis has failed? Are they waiting for Brad Lander or Dan Goldman to lose and move to NY-11 in time for the general election (anyone know the deadline for that?) Just because the DCCC isn’t interested in NY-11 doesn’t mean we give up and just accept another two years of Republican representation.

JUNE 6, 1944 - D-DAY
Operation Overlord - In the early hours of June 6, under the cover of darkness, American and British paratroopers dropped into Normandy from more than 1,200 aircraft. Once daylight appeared, gliders brought in additional paratroopers. American airborne forces of the 82nd and 101st worked valiantly to achieve their inland objectives, including the capture of Sainte-Mere Eglise and securing key approaches to the Allied beachhead. (www.dday.org/) Eighty two years later, that nation will mark this solemn anniversary that created a path to victory for the Allies.

NO KINGS!
June 14: Rise up, Sing Out! A Concert for the First Amendment. A Night to Build Community. On June 14, No Kings and the Committee for the First Amendment are coming together for Rise Up, Sing Out — an uplifting national concert event celebrating the freedoms that belong to all of us: speech, assembly, protest, religion, press, and expression. Across the country, communities will gather for local watch parties to sing along, make art, share food, connect with neighbors, and take meaningful action together. www.nokings.org

June 14 is Flag Day. It is NOT a celebration of Trump’s birthday. On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress approved the design of a national flag. Since 1916, when President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation establishing a national Flag Day on June 14, Americans have commemorated the adoption of the Stars and Stripes in many ways–displaying the flag in the front of their homes, parades, and other patriotic observances. Prior to 1916, many localities and a few states had been celebrating the day for years. Congressional legislation designating that date as the national Flag Day was signed into law by President Harry Truman in 1949; the legislation also called upon the president to issue a Flag Day proclamation every year. www.loc.gov/item/today-in-history/june-14/

Health Care costs are already beginning to skyrocket but you have not seen anything yet! Everyone will be paralyzed with medical bills because billionaires needed tax breaks. Oh but there IS $$$$$ for ICE to continue abusing people. Tomorrow. Malliotakis’ office.

Come on down . . . setting up table for PrideFest. Snug Harbor 12-5 pm today. Come see us. F17. You can register to vote. Get some candy for leaving a message for Gov Hochul urging her to pass NY for All Act. Find out how bad our economy really is. We want to meet you.

The situation at Delaney Hall is deteriorating over days and there is an all out assault on protesters by ICE and state police. Tear gas, rubber bullets, arrests, road blockages. This is an authoritarian pushback on peaceful protesters demanding humanity for detainees. If you cannot go there please consider donations. If ever there was a time to hold your ground it’s now! Where are our electeds? Where is the response? The outrage? Get on the phone and call them. They don’t get to sit this out!!!

This president will do anything to distract from his amorality and corruption!
Even putting our servicemen and innocent civilians in harm’s way and jeopardizing our safety and security. He and his administration are a disaster for our country and the world!!!
