THANK YOU- THANK YOU- THANK YOU
Whether you signed a petition, made a donation, hosted a lawn sign or cast your vote for our campaign, I am grateful and humbled. I am forever indebted for the amazing support we received these past nine months.
Huge thanks to campaign manager Vincent Argenziano for getting this up and running. With his direction we managed to double the democrat vote totals in the district and surpass our 20% goal; certainly a “victory.” And I share this “victory” with past-Chair Laura Sword and current Chair, Charles Fall. Their willingness to lead and support democrat candidates is refreshing and added strength to our campaign.
Of course, I acknowledge my opponents, Frank Morano and John Buthorn. I have enjoyed the spirited competition and look forward to our porpuseful collaboration moving forward. I am confident that Councilman Morano will be a diligent servant as he represents the district in city council.
Most importantly, I celebrate my family, my loving wife and three fabulous daughters. They were beside me each day of the campaign, rooting and cheering and encouraging me to remain steadfast. Forever, they are my inspiration and motivation.
I ❤️🤍💙 Staten Island.

On October 29, 2012, I went to Tottenville High School with a few others to open up and prepare for evacuees from Superstorm Sandy.
Three days later, at the urging of my dear friend Msgr. Jeff Conway, I approached the administrators at Mt. Loretto and asked to utilize the back gym as a distribution location for the tons of donations we needed to clear out of the high school.
During the next few weeks I met some of the most generous people on Staten Island. We had dozens of volunteers accepting donations of clothes, bedding, baby food, diapers, pet food and so much more. In the aftermath of Sandy Staten Islanders rose to the occasion and truly showed who we are.
This group of amazing servants, pictured here, gathered together organically. We just wanted to help our neighbors.
Staten Island comes together in the face of tragedy and succeeds.
