Langston Chapel Elementary School is one of nine elementary schools within the Bulloch County Schools

LCES is an elementary school within the Bulloch County Schools system. The school has one of the District's highest international populations with many students speaking English as a second language. The school has been recognized by state entities as a high achieving school

What a special afternoon at the Langston School-Based Health Center! Today, we celebrated the winners of the student art contest sponsored by East Georgia Healthcare Centers!

The incredible artwork created by these talented young artists is now proudly displayed throughout the health center for everyone to enjoy! We were excited to have families, Board of Education members, district staff, and community partners join us for this special celebration!

Special thanks to East Georgia Healthcare Center, Dr. Dawn Tysinger, and the Department of Student Wellness & Support for making this celebration possible!

We recently celebrated Bus Appreciation Week, honoring the amazing bus drivers and aides who safely transport our Lions each day!

They are among the first faces our students see each morning and the last each afternoon. Their patience, dedication, and love for our children never go unnoticed.

They don’t just drive buses. They take care of someone’s whole world! To our LCES bus drivers and aides, thank you for all you do to keep our Lions safe!

PERFECT ATTENDANCE IS WORTH CELEBRATING! And what better way to celebrate than with a DANCE PARTY!

At LCES, we believe in recognizing students who SHOW UP every day, READY TO LEARN! So we turned up the music, hit the dance floor, and celebrated our Lions who earned PERFECT ATTENDANCE!

What a way to wrap up National School Lunch Week 2026 at LCES! Today, our school administrators traded their usual duties for aprons and serving gloves as they joined our AMAZING cafeteria staff to serve lunch to our Lions!

We were especially excited to welcome Assistant Superintendent Teresa Phillips, who rolled up her sleeves and joined us behind the serving line!

To our INCREDIBLE cafeteria staff, THANK YOU for your hard work, dedication, and the love you pour into our students every single day! This week, the spotlight belonged to YOU!
